It can sync to multiple cameras via lock-it boxes while recording isolated tracks and mix-down tracks to ensure a clean mix every time without timecode drift. It also excels in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold, able to operate in temperatures down to 20 below freezing or the sweltering summers of Phoenix, Arizona.

Introducing the CANTAR X2!

The Cantar has an extensive feature set that makes it a truly unique tool for recording sound.

All routing and physical configurations are memorized and can be re-called. They can also be stored in a PDA or laptop for instant programming of a new machine.
Built-in, dustproof and waterproof six linear fader mixer (patent pending) for comprehensive 'dynamic' control of the two-track mix-down. Individual gain values are stored using XML syntax as a guide for the final sound-mixing stage.
Auto-Slate automatically stamps a TC on the detected clap-sticks.
